-
- Dr. Ali accepts most insurance plans for Primary Care services.
- She does not accept insurance for Integrative Medicine consults.
- Zanjabee does not accept insurance for complementary medicine services – Massage, Acupuncture, Ayurveda, Ayurveda massage, Yoga, Pranayama, Qigong and Reiki.
- Can I get reimbursed for services provided at Zanjabee ?
- Some of Zanjabee’s complementary medicine services are reimbursable by insurance companies and/or third party payers. We are more than happy to provide you with a super bill that you can send your insurance company to be reimbursed. Please call your insurance company and ask them if the service you are interested in is covered or not.
- How can I get reimbursed from my insurance company for covered services ?
- When you come in for your appointment, the front desk staff will provide you with a copy of your encounter form after you have paid for services. Let them know you are going to file for reimbursement with your insurance company so that they can ensure all the required diagnoses codes are designated. It will be necessary to pay for services at the time of your visit even if you intend to file a claim on your own with your insurance company.
- What about Health Savings Accounts (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) ?
- Generally the services provided by Zanjabee practitioners are payable from your HSA or FSA accounts. To be certain, however, please check with the plan administrator at your place of employment. FSA will usually cover the costs of prescribed supplements.
- What about Medicare and Medicaid ?
- Dr. Ali accepts Medicare payment for those Primary Care services covered by Medicare. Any co-payments or deductibles must be paid by the patient. Payment for those services not covered by Medicare is required at the time of service. We accept check, cash, Visa, or Master Card. Please bring your Medicare card with you on the day of your appointment. Dr. Ali also accepts Network Health (a Medicaid product) for Primary Care services. Please note that Dr. Ali does not accept Medicare or Medicaid for Integrative Medicine consults. Our complementary medicine practitioners do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.
- What methods of payment are accepted ?
- For Primary Care Co-pay or Deductible is expected at the time of the appointment. Payment in full is required at the time of your appointment for all other services. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa and Master Card.
- Isn’t paying out-of-pocket too expensive ?
- Dr. Ali accepts insurance for Primary Care – traditional western medicine care. For other services, when you are used to sporadic $20-$30 co-pay, paying directly for care can be an adjustment. We encourage all patients to investigate, in advance, what their deductible and reimbursement rates are. Our patients tell us the cost is worth the value of care they receive at Zanjabee.
